July Mindful Movement Pilates Challenge
Workout in the comfort of your own home with 20 LIVE hour long sessions each week day from Monday 1 – Friday 26 July 2019
The opportunity to start each day with a Pilates practice which becomes a moving meditation – yes, it’s a thing, I haven’t just made that up – it’s great for people who need to meditate but can’t be arsed – you know who you are! You’re the one who can’t switch their brain off a few minutes 😊
Throughout July I will be teaching a mindful movement session every weekday morning from 6-7am. The session will include around 20-25 minutes of REStorative work, 20-25 minutes of Pilates Matwork and 5-10 minutes of release/rest. The focus will be very much on moving with the breath and flow rather than a full-on workout, mainly because we don’t bend very well at that time in a morning!
Create some space for yourself.
get some clarity, focus and direction
- be more energised throughout the day
- sleep & relax better
- gain a healthy consistent Pilates practice which WILL absolutely change your body if you do it every day
- potentially rid yourself of some of the more niggly persistent tightness and aches and pains
- focus better
- learn some stuff you didn’t know
- build some strength, flexibility and stamina… and showing up consistently will:
- help your mindset & give you some ME time
improve your mood (usually – depends who you meet the rest of the day)
- generally make you feel awesome and just a tad smug that you’re getting up every day and doing your body a massive movement favour!

What you Need
A Facebook account. If you don’t have one you can set one up anonymously fairly easily, just let me know and I’ll send you a link to how.
A good internet connection each morning.
Minimal equipment. A rolled up towel or two, pillow, blocks if you have them, and a yoga strap or belt.
A desire to get involved! Contributing in the Closed Group will help keep us all on track throughout the month.
A commitment to MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF for at least 20 hours in the month. Consider it SELF CARE
You must be relatively fit and healthy. Aches, tightness and niggles are fine, but it’s not a great idea to do unsupervised Pilates without the eyes of a teacher if you’re suffering any major issue or chronic pain condition.
The REStorative part of the class is ideal to get you moving in a morning, so even if you don’t feel up to doing the rest of the Pilates session, you can still benefit.
There will be no refunds after 30 June 2019.
